After School Creative Clay Club 1st & 2nd grade- Monday (6 weeks) @ Speckled Turtle

Come be a part of our club! The CREATIVE CLAY CLUB! Each session will be a lesson in clay hand building in which students will learn techniques to build and sculpt clay into different forms. We will start with basic skills and quickly move on as they learn all the techniques of hand building.
Hand building means: using your hands to form and object out of clay.
Techniques:
- Slab Buiding
- Coiling
- Using tools to decorate
- Throwing
Students will try the table top wheels the last 2 weeks of our clay club. Wheels are an advanced skill and require patience, listening skills and upper body strength for centering clay.
